The logo combines Josen Sans with arches inspired by the Taj Mahal, creating a modern yet culturally rooted identity. The connection between the letters “n” and “t” adds a distinctive character that sets the brand apart. Our goal was to design a trustworthy and approachable visual language that complements technology without overwhelming it. Explorations drew inspiration from store awnings and traditional Toran motifs, paired with Gill Sans for balance.
Other variations incorporated symbols like the pestle and mortar and the Taj Mahal dome, reflecting India’s heritage in a contemporary way.
We began by researching e-commerce platforms and conducting a heuristic evaluation of the existing website to identify key areas for improvement. Based on our findings, we created wireframes that clarified primary and secondary pages and guided our redesign process.
To enhance engagement, we introduced a Recipe page and an Indian Food Culture section, divided into Region, Festival, and Fun Facts. These pages were interconnected, allowing users to explore cultural stories, discover recipes, and even add ingredients directly to their cart for a seamless shopping experience.
The visual design reflects Indian culture in a modern, minimal style, with clean layouts, line icons, and warm illustrations. The Region and Festival pages celebrate India’s diversity by pairing cuisines with their origins and occasions, creating a cohesive and culturally rich digital experience.
